PARENTS’ AND CITIZENS’ ASSOCIATION
The role of this body is a forum for parents’ views on education in general and this School in particular.
Its secondary role is to assist in providing materials, facilities and resources necessary for the functioning of our programs.
Association funds are derived from our contribution scheme and several social functions conducted throughout the year. It also plays a vital role in establishing and maintaining community-school relations, and its advice is sought in all matters concerning the life of the school.
SUB-COMMITTEES
Pre-School and Gilston Club sub-committees govern the function of the Pre-School and Tuckshop and each runs fund-raising functions during the year.
A Budget group looks after the financial position of the school, and operates with both School and Parent funds.
